DISC GOLF IS BACK

DISC GOLF IS BACK!!! The first stop on the Disc Golf Pro Tour since Covid-19 was the Dynamic Discs Open which was held at the Country Club here in Emporia, Kansas. This long, OB filled ball golf course is challenging on it’s own but when you throw in 20 mph winds its exceptionally difficult. Paige Pierce and Paul McBeth came out the gate hot, both leading their divisions by multiple strokes after the first two rounds. Final round was extremely windy for the entirety of the men and it slowed down about half way through the FPO lead card round. All of a sudden Paul McBeth doesn’t have the win on lock because he has the young gunner Calvin Heimburgh rom the chase card on his tail playing ridiculously good in the wind while Paul finds multiple OB’s for the first time in the tournament. Paige Pierce had a very comfortable lead going into the final round but her Discraft team member Missy Gannon came to play. You can find the final results of the FPO division on our YouTube page. Tomorrow we’re off to Minnesota where we’ll have an action packed week getting as much disc golf content as possible. We will be filming a Discraft doubles round on Wednesday and an OTB sponsored skins match on Thursday. Friday-Sunday we’ll be filming FPO with next day coverage.
